hey, I made a little file transfer tool for the Commodore 64 to send files directly to my servers. It's called SEND64 and you can see it and get links here: https://t.co/GdrQbO8fNI
Have a new little C64 tool I wrote to make my workflow better. But this time waiting on a capture card so I can share actual C64 screen captures instead of running through VICE. Hopefully Wedesday/Thursday I'll have a chance to get a video and share it out!
@CptSparky360 Huh, I have an actual REU attached and haven't seen that, but since the first joystick port and keyboard matrix go through the same port, maybe there's some combination of motions that it mistakes for the C key and clears. I'll give it a try. And yes more to come, plus more tools
hey, I released the first version of my C64 sprite editor Minisprite. See the simple video here: https://t.co/WMegUKGfwj and grab a copy yourself at https://t.co/1xGBPXJZ9I #c64#retro#gamedev
@gillham@gregnacu Honestly if I was going to make something for C64os I'd probably start with an IRC client... first thing I wanted when networking support was added, but it's also possible someone's made one by now I haven't been keeping up lately sadly
For some absolutely insane reason I can't explain, I feel a strong urge to write a Markdown editor for #C64 with support for previewing the formatted version on the second monitor of a C128. And probably needs printer support too. Why am I like this...
@gillham@gregnacu Oh see now you're just encouraging my madness haha. I'm familiar w/ @gregnacu's C64os (and have read a LOT of his blog posts, even called out his mouse driver code as being a source in Minisprite's mouse handling) but I hadn't read this one, good call.
