Is anyone else tired of seeing hundreds (thousands?) of “_____ A Complete Guide 2021 Edition” books on @amazon@amazonbooks that are just a bunch of questions with the title replaced? Also they are $100 each. It just seems like #acompletescam to me. Chat support was no help.
#Prog8 #6502 code on a digital logic simulator! Using the excellent “Digital” logic simulator by Helmut Neemann and a 6502 implementation by completely-unstable. I run “Hello, World!” via Prog8 and 6502 assembly.

Holy shit, YES! Retro Innovations is now selling "REU Grande." It's $75, for a stand-alone, 16MB 1750-compatible REU in a compact cartridge. #C64

@schoenfeld_jens@gregnacu I hope it is designed better than this beauty that bent to a ridiculous angle the first time I tried to use it. This is after bending it back. Now I have to press down on this connector to insert the cartridge.
CommodoreSpence posted a nice C64 OS overview video. Not everything stated is 100% technically accurate, just a heads up. But it's interesting nonetheless to see a typical user showing off some of its features. #C64 👍

New video about shiru8bit's fantastic "Back to the PET" demo, and how to make it endlessly loop for display at the upcoming Indy Classic computer and video game show.

@8BitShowAndTell I need either a “NOT KNOWN” or “NOT APPLY” key on my keyboard. It would help a lot with responding to emails or issues. I’m just not sure which one would be better.
Andrew Gillham had a nice idea to get the C64 OS custom characters available from the READY prompt. You can type them, see and use them in filenames and directories, BASIC programs and text files listed with the JiffyDOS “@t” command. #C64@gillham
Guys, it’s with great pleasure that I present my first project of 2026 for the retro scene, especially for the C64.
If you want to know more, I’ve uploaded a trailer on the game’s page over on itch io — check it out here:

@heyitsbcs@gregnacu I absolutely want to encourage you to write an editor for C64 OS! Haha. But if you’re writing one for native C64 then I would suggest MText support since it seems like a nice fit.
Also let’s talk about using the C64 OS custom character set too so we can have curly braces.
hey, I released the first version of my C64 sprite editor Minisprite. See the simple video here: https://t.co/WMegUKGfwj and grab a copy yourself at https://t.co/1xGBPXJZ9I #c64#retro#gamedev
If you’re interested in an open source 6502 based game console check out this crowd funding project. I’m not affiliated just hoping they fund so I can get one! I have Prog8 working on the emulator already and I’m trying to improve the support.
