You can hold two opinions, sometimes more, at once.

1. Brand has, in the last few years, hit the nail on the head about pharmaceutical companies, the WEF, and the industrial military complex, all of whom are clearly creating issues they can profit from and financially corrupting western goverments, to control the narrative and push their agenda. But you all knew that anyway, you didn't need Brand to tell you.

And

2. Have been a predatory rapist that used his fame and power to carry our despicable acts against women.

And

3. Think the timing is dubious, why now? Is he less powerful or more powerful than 20 years ago?

Why hasn't anyone had the balls to make a programme like #Dispatches earlier?

Or her comedy or her politics, but she did the right thing, as much as she could. She spoke up. Constantly. She called gim out to his face, and she tried to tell people, risking being sued and risking loosing her career. She risked a lot to speak up. Not like the men around that are all claiming now, that they knew, people like Stewart Lee and Nish Kumar - where were you for 20 years then?

5. This idea that women can just go to the police is ridiculous. Have you any idea how few shits the police give? Three years I was stalked harassed and abused by a man with a documented 20 years history of doing the same to other women, and the police didn't do a thing. One ordered food on her walkie talkie when I relayed, in tears, a particularly harrowing statement after calling 999. One of many times. When I wrote to the MET and complained my police weren't helping me, a police officer write to my doctor to claim I was "hysterical" and needed medicating. More recently, I have compiled mounds of evidence, and proof, piles and piles of documents and proof, and given it to the police. First, they lost it all. They've had it again, since, and done nothing. Then they tell you it's a civil matter, or they tell you time has run out to do anything - not because of you, but because if them. "Just go yo the police", is the most stupid comment.

Rapists don't wear a mac and hang around down alleyways - more often than not, they're someone you know, your partner, your ex partner, a friend...

I'm pretty disgusted at a lot of people this morning.

I dont care about the programme, I don't care if I loose friends and followers, I believe those women in the programme. I believe them, and their accounts, and how much what happened has effected them.

You either have principles, or you don't. You can't down them because you like the man that accused. That's how Saville, Harris, The Bidens, get away with what they get/got away with.
