Had no clue Agatha Christie's murder mysteries were set up to the 1970s. Just assumed they all took place on trains or boats in the 30s, but you pick up one from 1969 and Hercule Poirot straight up says "No, a hippie did not commit the crime. Who told you that, a computer?"
Shohei Ohtani now has the highest OBP and 2nd-highest wRC+ in the NL.
Shohei Ohtani lowered his ERA to 0.74, the best among all SP with at least 60 IP.
We’ve already seen 4 Ohtani MVP seasons and somehow 2026 will be his best year yet
i believe in re-reading and re-watching your favourite books & movies at different stages of your life. the plot never changes, but your perspective does.
We should stop pretending page length is an indicator of how difficult it is to get through a book. Monte Cristo is like 900 pages but is basically litslop so you get through it easily. A soap opera telenovella isn't complex just because it has 500 episoded either
