Blue Ghost on repeat!
Firefly was awarded a $144 million @NASA CLPS contract to return to the Moon's near side and deliver three science instruments with our proven Blue Ghost lander.
This marks our sixth contracted lunar mission, demonstrating rapid, repeatable access to the lunar surface.

Introducing Artemis III.
Four astronauts. Three launches. Two dockings. One splashdown.
In 2027, the Artemis III mission will practice docking the Orion spacecraft with two lunar landers in low Earth orbit — the capability we need to return humanity to the Moon’s surface.
"I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth."
65 years ago today President John F. Kennedy addressed a joint session of Congress. Among his "Urgent National Needs"— achievement in space.
With the Space Race in full swing, he said, "while we cannot guarantee that we shall one day be first, we can guarantee that any failure to make this effort will make us last."
"A short time ago, at a NASA center not so far away..."
This week, John Knoll, Chief Creative Officer for Industrial Light & Magic -- and the Mandalorian and Grogu themselves -- visited Johnson Space Center. They learned about our work in human spaceflight, including through the International Space Station and Artemis, inspiring and benefitting humans in our own galaxy.
Start your week with some new photos from Artemis II!
Though our journey around the Moon has ended, we're still retrieving plenty of new images. Keep an eye on our Artemis II multimedia gallery for image highlights from the mission: https://t.co/XInWMJwMYY
This September, we're sending a new crew to the @Space_Station!

Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
Congratulations to @Astro_ChrisW and @astro_hathaway on their first cargo vehicle capture using the @csa_asc Canadarm on the @Space_Station! Mission accomplished today. Hatch opening and cargo ops, including many scientific experiments (and even some fresh food!), commence early tomorrow. Well done, @northropgrumman, @NASA, @SpaceX teams!
Another mission down - this time two of the crew members monitoring the approach and capturing the spacecraft were trained in part by me. 😊 Great job @Astro_ChrisW and @astro_hathaway! (you may see me in the control room if you look closely 👀)
LIVE: Looking for more space action following Artemis II? We have you covered!
Tune in to watch a cargo spacecraft arrive at the @Space_Station, delivering over 11,000 pounds of science, supplies, and equipment for the crew in orbit. https://t.co/zWjOKdQYmC
The Canadarm2 robotic arm, operated by @Astro_ChrisW, captured @NorthropGrumman's Cygnus XL cargo craft at 1:20pm ET today. Cygnus XL will be installed to the Unity module for cargo transfers later today. https://t.co/tJncdhgYDZ
At 7:41 a.m. EDT, more than 11,000 pounds of scientific investigations and cargo launched to the @Space_Station aboard @northropgrumman's Cygnus XL spacecraft for the company’s Commercial Resupply Services-24 mission.

Big smiles from Christina and Victor on the deck of the USS John P. Murtha, as they waited to be escorted for their routine post-mission medical checks.
Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶
The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.
