Maybe mailbag question but if they did expand to 64, with Andrew's logic making sense, they would have to play multiple matches at the same time during group play, right? MD 3 is always that way but 1&2 would have to be as well unless you wanted 10 days in between?

This. *This*. They deserve the trophy for accumulating more points in the season than anyone else. This, though, is why I'll not remember this team as one that sticks out. Perhaps just my biased opinion.
Arsenal will have scored the fewest goals of any Premier League winning side since Leicester:
🔴 Arsenal (2025/26)* - 69
🔴 Liverpool (2024/25) - 86
🔵 Man City (2023/24) - 96
🔵 Man City (2022/23) - 94
🔵 Man City (2021/22) - 99
🔵 Man City (2020/21) - 83
🔴 Liverpool (2019/20) - 85
🔵 Man City (2018/19) - 95
🔵 Man City (2017/18) - 106
🔵 Chelsea (2016/17) - 85
🦊 Leicester (2015/16) - 68
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
I’ve never seen a team hated on from literally every direction and produce unquestionable receipts within minutes.
This Arsenal team, fan base and the paid mouthpieces in the media deserve all the hate they will get.
As much as football has died today. We’ve come together to hate them.

Spent time thinking about this. With allllllllllllll the pulling, tugging, and pushing. I wish they could just redo the free kick like offsetting penalties in the NFL. To give the Arsenal the ball when there are 8 fouls at the same time is the ridiculous part.
