Less time pushing pixels. More time deciding:
- what users are trying to accomplish
- what the user needs next
- which problems are worth solving first
AI speeds up execution. Judgment still shapes the product & business.
#ai#saas#buildinpublic#design#uxdesign#uxui
AI can help create faster. But taste, clarity, and judgment still matter more than ever.
I don't think AI is making design less important. I think it's making the judgment side of design more visible & valuable.
I keep seeing this across various recent design work like https://t.co/Y4MoyKXRHI, and even while refreshing https://t.co/VEYVH1tRXF.
The work is becoming less about only making screens and more about shaping product direction, flows, decisions, and user behavior.
These questions matter as much as the prompt. They shape whether the product feels useful, safe, clear, and trustworthy.
The model matters!
BUT the workflow around the model is usually where the product succeeds or fails.

The AI model is only one part of an AI-native SaaS.
A lot of real product decisions happen around the model: when it speaks, when it stops, what it remembers, what it ignores, and what happens when users go off-script.
Working with the Addie team made this especially obvious.
The customer may never see the internal tool.
But they feel its impact through faster setup, clearer updates, and smoother onboarding.
#b2b#productstrategy#saas#productops#startup
Internal tools show up earlier than people expect in B2B products.
They may not feel like the main product, but they often shape how the product is delivered, how fast onboarding happens, and how smooth the customer experience feels.
At first it is simple: tracking pilots, onboarding users, seeing who is stuck, sending follow-ups, and reporting progress.
We saw this clearly while working through Addie’s (https://t.co/tTxMmsCZ7I) pilot workflows.
@unit731_31@YouTube Haha 😂 No, I didn’t design or get paid for this. Just a curious designer!
Often I spend a long time scrolling through the thumbnails to find the next video to watch without looking at comments at all.
Would love to hear thoughts on how this affects your viewing experience.
Excited about the new UX @YouTube is testing! The streamlined layout prioritizes video recommendations over comments, which aligns perfectly with how I browse.
Curious to see how it affects creator-audience engagement. #YouTube#UX
YouTube is Testing a TERRIBLE UX for desktop...
they flipped the comments and description with the recommended videos
and now they've 4xed the amount of videos you may be tempted to watch instead of the current one
Intros are gonna have to be GOOD moving forward...
@RancorPrime@YouTube Yeah, quite possible 😂.
I would appreciate if you could share your thoughts on how having comments at the bottom is a better experience for you?
@dinofavara@YouTube Also, I cant remember the last time I read the comments on a YouTube video 😅
Not sure if my habits apply to the majority of users, so that is something to be explored. But I am curious if it will impact a viewer-creator relationship in anyway.
@dinofavara@YouTube Drawing from my own YouTube browsing experience, I've found the current single vertical layout a bit challenging when seeking out the next video. This approach promises to simplify content discovery, making it easier to find the next captivating video in no time.
Sci-fi fantasies are turning into reality right before our eyes🤯 Next, I'll be lounging on Mars, popping a pizza pill, and streaming Ozark featuring the cast of Family Guy. The future is wild!
