Throwing it out there: why don't #universities stop having billboards with snappy slogans & no substance, and start promoting their great educators instead? Money could go from marketing to enabling/supporting academics... isn't THAT the core value of unis??
@peppsyd@r_yanwalker Or just go self-managed to avoid adding layers to your org. Requires training everyone but then you build a much more efficient and innovative org!

@Ninth_Squirrel Agree - it makes it easier (as @JeffreyPfeffer wrote in LeadershipBS), but then the question is: are high-ego leaders inherently better? If they're not, how are we helping low-ego people still get in those roles?
