As we continue to improve, we acknowledge the concerns around delays in waste evacuation. The Lagos State Government is working on innovative approaches to strengthen waste management and improve the turnaround time for waste evacuation across the State.

However, a cleaner Lagos is not the responsibility of government alone. Every resident has a role to play. I urge all Lagosians to take ownership of their surroundings, stop indiscriminate dumping, separate recyclable materials from other waste and ensure that refuse is properly disposed of at all times.
