@insiderugbymark I feel many female sporting events are growing worldwide with crowds and Television viewers. Many domestic competitions around the world are also struggling for crowds - except for maybe the AFL in the Aus/NZ market.
@the_real_flea@T2Rugby It wasnโt about comparing clubs - if it was then you could say the Brisbane Lions are bigger than Titans Dolphins and Cowboys, Sydney Swans bigger than Sharks Dragons Tigers Knights Manly.
Despite the storms outstanding success Melbourne is an AFL town with a small niche.
@T2Rugby@s_coombsy Purely based on people I know who had never watched rugby going to pubs these last few weekends because it was what all their friends were doing. Southern hemisphere had a lot of coverage on podcasts /shows/talkback at a level I hadnโt seen before.
Just my experience
@T2Rugby@s_coombsy 6N this year gathered far more interest in countries outside the 6 competing nations than is has before. The results helped, but sthn hemisphere had never had as much publicity around the competition as it did this year. Tier 2 European nations have pubs packed for every game
@easyJet Second time I have had this reply. Find it very hard to believe as the details have been entered correctly on both occasions. Cancelled flight when we arrived at the airport (Gatwick) and no alternate flight was possible within 24 hours to the same location. @easyJet@BBCWorld
