A productive afternoon in the sun for us (potting some tiny oaklings from 2023 acorns), and these oaklings that have woken up and are ready to grow (25 so far). #300Acorns@TheKentAcorn@Poetrees1WTP@SAVEDORETREES
@AleksandrSolzh4@TheKentAcorn@SAVEDORETREES We collect acorns every September, they've germinated by the spring but we pot them 2 springs later (when they're developing some strength). They take 4 or 5 years to be ready to go in the ground and are planted in the winter before they wake up. Best of luck to you!

@ggraham@TheKentAcorn Till they're about 3 feet (or more) tall. Then we find them homes in the winter to be planted. It takes a few years (very slow growing).
@ggraham@TheKentAcorn It is easy, and fun. We've been collecting and planting acorns since 2020. So far, 43 little oaklings have been given their 'forever homes'. #300Acorns
