🇸🇴 🇮🇹 Somalia President receives Italy’s Interior Minister, Matteo Piantedosi, at Villa Somalia Presidential Palace in Mogadishu for talks on bilateral cooperation.
All winning candidates backed by Mamdani ran campaigns that focused intently on ending US support for Israel, a sign of how far public opinion has shifted on the issue, even in heavily Jewish New York. Few back genocide, apartheid, and endless occupation. https://t.co/0BirzLOTO4
The only reason we didn’t make peace with Iran 20 years ago is because the nuclear-armed pariah state of Israel will not tolerate the existence of any rivals that limit its expansion & influence.
Our “forever wars” have been one systematic campaign to make Israel a superpower.
We cannot and will not have a normal life as long as Israel exists. Not only anyone connected to West Asia - everyone in the entire world. Ending Zionism is our #1 most vital international objective. None will have dignity or a future before this objective is realized
You cannot commit genocide in Gaza, invade Lebanon, bomb Iran, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq, violate Geneva and Vienna Conventions, international law, human rights, and state sovereignty, then hide behind anti-Semitism.
There is no rise in anti-Semitism. There is a rise in the number of people who are very angry at what Israel is doing. Your inability to separate the two is equally problematic.
The USA have blocked the Somali Referee Omar Artan from entering the USA, the Referee who is rated the best in Africa was blocked at entry, so he got the Somalian embassy to give him a Diplomatic Passport.
But the USA still refuses to let him in.
The USA need to be disqualified
The genocide seems unstoppable,
Necrocapitalism seems invincible- but they are not!
All we need is UNITY. COORDINATION. PERSEVERANCE.
Keep Protesting. Striking. Boycotting. Litigating.
Not just once.
All the times needed till the Apartheid ends and the system which fed it too.
The naval blockade and escalation of war crimes in Lebanon by the genocidal Zionist regime are clear evidence of U.S. noncompliance with the ceasefire.
Every choice has a price, and the bill comes due. It will all fall into place.
Call me a raging antisemite but I just don't think the only country to ever use nuclear weapons and the only country lying about having nuclear weapons should be the ones deciding who gets nuclear weapons

As noted below, Trump has achieved none of its goals with his war on Iran and has proven the most humiliating US strategic military defeat since the Vietnam War. Iran's Islamist regime has not only survived US and Israeli bombing strikes but it stronger than it has been for many years led by more hardline leaders. Its economy is capable of riding out the US naval blockade for several months if not years. Before the war, the Strait of Hormuz was open to international traffic and controlled by no-one.
Now, thanks to Trump's war on Iran, both the Strait and the Persian Gulf are under Iranian control and there is nothing the US can do to change that through military action. Most US military bases in the Middle East have been destroyed or rendered unusable by Iranian missile strikes and its unlikely the US will ever rebuild them given their vulnerability to new Iranian missile attacks. The war has catapulted Iran to regional hegemon status with control of 20 percent of the world's oil reserves.
US bombing strikes have proven shockingly ineffective destroying only 5-7 percent of Iran's warships including fast missile boats, 9 percent of Iran's coastal defense missile sites and 10 percent of its underground missile production and missile launch facilities. The US has destroyed nearly 16 percent of Iran's ballistic and cruise missile arsenal (with another 14 percent being fired at the US and its allies), 25 percent of Iran's mobile missile launchers and 33 percent of Iranian warplanes. Iran's army remains largely untouched at full-strength.
Most importantly, US bombing strikes have left Iran's nuclear program virtually untouched as they have failed to destroy even one pound of Highly Enriched Uranium with its estimated HEU stockpile today being 1,000 pounds which is the exact same size it was before Operation Midnight Hammer in June.
What Trump's imperial war of unprovoked aggression against Iran has proven is what I predicted before it started which is that there is no military solution to the Iran nuclear issue only a diplomatic one and that an Iranian strategic victory over the US was inevitable. I also predicted at the onset of the war that it would serve to strengthen Iran, Russia and China while weakening the US militarily and transform the regional and world balance of power against us.
Iran offered the US a much better deal on its nuclear program before the war than it is now and its unlikely it will ever offer a deal that good to the US ever again. The deal that Iran is offering now is considerably worse than the JCPOA which Trump foolishly scrapped in 2018 without which this war would likely have never happened.
Over 1.5 million Muslim pilgrims are performing Hajj this year.
When Malcolm X (El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz) performed Hajj in 1964, he wrote “Letters from Mecca.”
This is one of those letters:
Never have I witnessed such sincere hospitality and the overwhelming spirit of true brotherhood as practiced by people of all colors and races here in this Ancient Holy Land, the home of Abraham, Muhammad and all other prophets of the Holy Scriptures. For the past week, I have been utterly speechless and spellbound by the graciousness I see displayed all around me by people of all colors.
I have been blessed to visit the Holy City of Mecca. I have made my seven circuits around the Ka’ba, led by a young Mutawaf named Muhammad. I drank water from the well of Zem Zem. I ran seven times back and forth between the hills of Mt. Al-Safa and Al-Marwah. I have prayed in the ancient city of Mina, and I have prayed on Mt. Arafat. There were tens of thousands of pilgrims, from all over the world. They were of all colors, from blue-eyed blonds to black skin Africans. But we were all participating in the same rituals, displaying a spirit of unity and brotherhood that my experiences in America had lead me to believe never could exist between the white and non-white. America needs to understand Islam, because this is the one religion that erases from its society the race problem.
Throughout my travels in the Muslim world, I have met, talked to, and even eaten with people who in America would have considered ‘white’, but the ‘white’ attitude was removed from their minds by the religion of Islam. I have never before seen sincere and true brotherhood practiced by all colors together, irrespective of their color.
You may be shocked by these words coming from me. But on this pilgrimage, what I have seen, and experienced, has forced me to re-arrange much of my thought patterns previously held, and to toss aside some of my previous conclusions. This was not too difficult for me. Despite my firm convictions, I have always been a man who tries to face facts, and to accept the reality of life as new experiences and new knowledge unfolds it. I have always kept an open mind, which is necessary to the flexibility that must go hand in hand with every form of intelligent search for truth. During the past eleven days here in the Muslim world, I have eaten from the same plate, drunk from the same glass, and slept in the same bed, (or on the same rug), while praying to the same God, with fellow Muslims, whose eyes were the bluest of blue, whose hair was the blondest of blond, and whose skin was the whitest of white. And in the same words and in the actions and in the deeds of the ‘white’ Muslims, I felt the same sincerity that I felt among the black African Muslims of Nigeria, Sudan and Ghana.
We were truly all the same (brothers), because their belief in one God had removed the ‘white’ from their minds, the ‘white’ from their behavior, and the ‘white’ from their attitude. I could see from this, that perhaps if white Americans could accept the Oneness of God, then perhaps, too, they could accept in reality the Oneness of Man, and cease to measure, and hinder, and harm others in terms of their differences in color. With racism plaguing America like an incurable cancer, the so-called ‘Christian’ white American heart should be more receptive to a proven solution to such a destructive problem.
Perhaps it could be in time to save America from imminent disaster, the same destruction brought upon Germany by racism that eventually destroyed the Germans themselves.

I know of no other country on Earth whose Prime Minister is a war criminal wanted by the ICC, whose two active ministers are also wanted by the ICC on charges of ethnic cleansing and genocide, whose former Minister of Defence is similarly wanted by the ICC, and whose senior military officers face ICC warrants — and yet Western politicians still have the audacity to call it a “democracy” and has the right for self-defence, and keep having normal relations with.
Your children go to bed after eating burgers, pizza, biryani, and pulao, while Palestinian children are going to sleep hungry, sometimes with nothing at all. 😢
After seeing all this, how can the Muslim world sleep peacefully?
Israel is responsible for this situation.
The government is trying to bury its complicity in a catastrophic illegal war.
Our government chose to make Britain part of an illegal war machine. Once again, human beings abroad have paid the price. [4/4]
Turkey, as a NATO member, and the EU do not fundamentally disagree on how Somalia is managed.
Somalia is not caught between competing imperial projects, but embedded in an interconnected system in which Turkey and the EU play different, mutually reinforcing roles.
Somalia will not be saved by Turkey or the EU. Only its people can save Somalia.
