Finally added the gallery show notes to the Codie site, in case you want to know what you're missing if you're not in Virginia: https://t.co/VEtc04joA6
In our latest feature, @PrarthanaMitra writes a definitive piece on the subculture of making musical & visual art using code, its leading artists & its likely future in South Asia. w/ @iheartkcr@ChihoOka@hi_Codie@Khoparzi@RanggaPurAji & more.

@LiteralMeaning1 you could also use Quicktime to screen cap and record audio, though you'll need something like iShowU, Blackhole, or Loopback — you'll need those for OBS too
@LiteralMeaning1 for video we use a capture card (https://t.co/f2uEvKXqoz, but there are plenty of options) — you can run the audio into that as well or into OBS or record from Sonic Pi and then combine with the capture card video in a video editing program (iMovie, Resolve).
Codie is a livecoding, audiovisual consisting of Melody Loveless, Kate Sicchio, and Sarah Groff Hennigh-Palermo. They have performed in various venues around NYC as well as produced films and installations using code. Tune in later to see @hi_codie in action 💜 (3PM EST)
oh also nearly two years ago we managed to capture one of our best shows (in Berlin, naturally) and today we finally put it on vimeo

tomorrow we'll be doing another practice stream on that same channel — around 4pm CEST / 10am EST! feel free to drop in and see how the musical sausage is made.
