@ai_seo_geo Fair test. I'd add one more: can it roll back? Anything that edits product pages in bulk should let you undo a change in one click before you trust it near BFCM.
@Chargebacksp Big distinction. What helps most is having the proof ready before you need it: tracking with delivery confirmation, the customer's messages, and the policy they saw at checkout.
@OmgawdMadeit Love #2. I'd add a 4th: run one refund through end to end. Knowing how that flow looks before a real customer asks saves a stressful afternoon.
@NaumanBalochDM Good habit. Easiest check: place one test order and compare the purchase count in Events Manager with Shopify. If one order shows up several times, look for a leftover theme snippet firing next to the app.
@sarah_carusona Payback period is the one every founder should know cold. A 3x that takes most of a year to pay back feels very different in November cash flow than one that pays back on the first order.
@oliverkenyon Pulling from survey answers is the key part. If people keep saying they weren't sure about sizing, that belongs in the trust bar more than another free shipping badge.
@thisaliraza Good heads up. Either way, make sure your shipping rates and return policy are filled in, because that's what a shopper sees first when your product shows up in an AI answer.
@ijfergy Useful check. For collections you can't delete yet, unpublishing them from the Online Store channel keeps them out of search and your nav until stock is back.
@ShopifyPulse Your own multiple is the right call. If you sold out of anything during last year's BFCM, nudge it up, since the sales you missed never show up in the numbers.
@oContis_Studio Agree. One more: set a per-customer usage limit on the bigger codes. If one leaks to a coupon site, that cap is what keeps it from eating the whole week's margin.
@Importier Good catch. Also worth a reminder for after the sale: clear those compare-at prices when BFCM ends, or the sale badge keeps showing on full-price items into December.
A customer emails: "Do I still have credit from my boot swap?" You open a spreadsheet of gift card codes. Two say $45.
Store Credit tracks every balance and its history, shows it in their portal, and applies it at checkout.
How do you track store credit today?
#Shopify
@SorokinSergey@Shopify That's rough. Keep the closure confirmation and screenshots of every charge. If support keeps looping, your bank or card provider can usually block the recurring charge and open a dispute while you sort it out.
@JonnyEcomSupply Agree. A good test before adding a variant: can you name the customers who asked for it, and do you know what happens to the leftover stock if it doesn't sell?
@MaxGrowthHub Solid list. Delivery dates is the one I'd do first. Shoppers start asking "will it arrive in time?" in early December, so put the answer on the product page before they have to ask.
@HanTad4 Good point. Pulling that day's refunds and checking their original order dates usually makes it clear whether it's a demand drop or old orders coming back.
