Many people don’t know this, but the crossed-arms “X” signal is FIFA’s universal gesture for reporting racist abuse.
When a player, coach, or team official makes that signal, they’re informing the referee that racist abuse has occurred. It is meant to trigger FIFA’s three-step anti-racism protocol: first stop the match, then suspend it if the abuse continues, and ultimately abandon the match if it doesn’t stop.
Today, Egypt manager Hossam Hassan made the “X” gesture from the touchline. Instead of initiating the protocol, the referee booked Hassan with a yellow card and allowed play to continue.
I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, encouragement, and kind messages I have received from people around the world. Your solidarity has reminded me that football unites us beyond borders. Thank you to everyone.
A Jewish student from Rutgers University protested an event featuring an IDF soldier
'The IDF has killed over 70,000 Palestinians. Over 300 journalists. Over 1,700 healthcare workers. Children were targeted. A 6-year-old was shot 335 times. My Jewish grandmother told me never again. Never again means never again for everybody. If justice is real, the IDF will go down'
The noise of politics drowns out what this case actually is.
A young woman is sitting in prison for publicly naming threats of sexual violence made against her, and for saying that if anything happens to her, she holds the president and his children accountable.
I watched her video. She described threats of rape, the same pattern @JamalMOsman exposed in his 2023 Channel 4 investigation, where rape is recorded, shared, and met with silence from authorities.
This is not just politics. It is gendered violence. It is the use of shame and sexual threat to silence women who step into public life.
And it is a system that decides which women are allowed to speak, and what happens to those who do not ask permission.
Entire ministries attend global events under the banner of protecting women, collecting millions, yet remain silent on a woman calling from a prison toilet who hasn’t eaten in four days.
Say her name. Free Sacdiyo Moalim.

My brain can’t comprehend how a monkey and a penguin get more attention than an actual human baby, starving in the middle of a genocide. People in Gaza deserve to live too. No child deserves to be starved to death or shot in the head.
If you don’t like dealing with the public, Stratford Bus Station is probably the absolute last place you should be working. A passerby had to step in and give this TfL worker a lesson in customer service after he patronised an elderly woman for asking a question
Do not stay silent about this. Every Muslim has a connection to Al-Aqsa. It is the First Qibla, the 3rd holiest site, From the night of Isra and Mi’raj to the legacy of every prophet who stood upon it.
As an Ummah, silence is not an option!!!
A Palestinian guy named Basim Sabri, who develops and owns Karmel Mall in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is mistreating a Somali mother who runs a small restaurant in his mall. Basim doesn't respect American laws and he mistreats his tenants. I think a lot of Arabs are racist special Palestinian and they show disrespect towards black people. The city of Minneapolis should shut down this mall.
