The first invited speaker of Day 2 is Niranjan Nagarajan @NiranjanTW of @NUSingapore. His talk is on assembling strain genomes from complex metagenomes using long reads. #HIBIT2021
HIBIT2021 is in the books! We’d like to thank to all of you who contributed and participated. See you next year at #HIBIT2022 which will be hosted by @METU_ODTU! Goodbye.
It was a pleasure delivering the closing keynote of HIBIT'2021. I greatly enjoyed the interactions, the amazing questions, and the ideas and suggestions that will lead to many good things to do together.
The final keynote of #HIBIT2021 is by Mehmet Koyuturk @koyuturkm from @cwru. He will talk about the “dark” phosphoproteome and methods to overcome the bias of the current methods towards well-studied kinases in predicting kinase-substrate links & kinase activity.
The next invited talk at 1.30pm is by Maria Secrier @mariasecrier from @UGI_at_UCL. Her talk is on computational frameworks to evaluate tumor dormancy, which is a state in which the cancer cells are reversibly arrested in the cell cycle and lead to drug resistance. #HIBIT2021
Super excited about this next keynote speech by Dr Ivet Bahar - Network models in biology: Molecular machinery, chromosomal dynamics, and pathogenicity of missense variants. #HIBIT2021
Türkiye'de düzenlenen en prestijli Uluslararası Biyoenformatik sempozyumu olan @HIBIT2021'de "Methylation Deviation as a Marker of Intra-Tumor Heterogeneity and Cancer Progression" başlıklı çalışmamızı sunuyoruz. Çalışmamızı tek görselde özetlemek için hazırladığımız poster:
Our next keynote speaker is Ivet Bahar @IvetBahar from University of Pittsburgh @compbiopitt. She will talk about elastic network models and their applications to describing molecular machinary, exploring chromosomal dynamics and predicting pathogenicity of variants. #HIBIT2021
The poster session of day 2 is under way. You can find the list of posters presented along with the links to poster rooms in the welcome email you received. Talks will resume at 1.30pm GMT+3. #HIBIT2021
