@meganhcoles I noticed this as well! When I am spending too much time studying or attending school, I become stressed and more anxious. #HKR1000 has taught me that walking and sleeping more will help with stress and mental health. After doing these techniques, my mood/stress has improved.
Through using WellTrack, I noticed my worst moods were caused by a lack of sleep. #HKR1000 course notes have taught me many techniques to help with my mood and stress. I have become more physically active and spend more time outside which has helped my mood and mental health.
@jacob_horwood I agree! #HKR1000 has proved that not having a sedentary lifestyle and being active helps with our physical and emotional wellness and with mental health. During the pandemic, it is crucial to be active for our wellness and like the article said for protection from "severe Covid"
Mental health has had the highest percentage rate since the pandemic came into our lives. It is crucial that we take time to be active and focus on our health. #HKR1000 has shown us that being active helps with our mental health, we can do activities outside to keep us active.
@Mab573Walsh I also found that really interesting! I was shocked with the results of this question and how only 20% of our #HKR1000 class participate in group activities. They're a large variety of activities in many communities to partake in that can improve our mental and physical wellness.
Data shows that 64.9% of students in #HKR1000 are self-confident. This percentage surprised me as I thought the numbers for self-confidence would be significantly lower. It is important that this number stays high because it can provoke physical, emotional, and behavioral issues.
