Boomers used to say “I want a job” and get hired on the spot. Now you need a degree, 2 internships, and 5 interviews just to be considered. And even after getting the job, you still can’t afford a home or raise a family.
“Nobody wants to work anymore” yeah, no surprise.
Ashok Shrivastav shouldn't be allowed to get away with an apology. He should be fired from his job.
Put yourself in Vedant's place.
You studied hard for your exam. You wrote your paper well. But CBSE goofed up with your paper and gave you low marks.
You are under tremendous stress. You take to social media to highlight the issue. But a DD News anchor labels you ‘Pakistani.’
And that anchor is paid with your father's tax money.
Now, imagine the trauma.
Looking at how Kohli is getting trolled by fellow Indians just because he did not shake hands with Travis Head shows the exact colonial mindset of Indians.
The aggression and passion of Kohli helped Indian cricket humongously. Imagine trolling an Indian cricketing hero just for a foreign national who just came for money.
And Travis Head is no saint. Australians are known for sledging. Kohli was bullied by the Australian crowd and media, and even yesterday Kohli was literally defending Venkatesh Iyer when Travis Head said something.
It's no use tbh. Indians taking the side of foreigners and trolling their own people is a norm now. We cannot even expect unity in this country.
Note - This is not a paid PR post. Every time I support any cricketer, people start crying that it's PR.
I always support all good Indian sportsmen.
