I'd like to formally introduce HLB Stuff+
It's a personally developed metric to evaluate how valuable a pitch shape is, regardless of its location
The model attempts to accurately how capable a pitch is of suppressing contact, or avoiding it altogether

Man, I thank God every day I took that leap and gave crypto a real shot 🙌🏾💰. Been gettin’ blessings ever since, fr. Don’t let nobody tell you what you can’t do stay locked in and keep grindin,Big love to my coach. @coachAlisha121 for showin’ me the way wit’ those investments ❤️
The 9 players with multiple home runs yesterday:
- Josh Naylor
- Ketel Marte
- Nolan Arenado
- Jeremiah Jackson
- Kyle Schwarber
- Mike Trout
- Aaron Judge
- Trent Grisham
- Jake Burger
This past weekend (Fri-Sun), there were 7 multi-homer games combined!
Ketel Marte just took a fastball, comfortably out of the zone, 443 feet to Eutaw Street
It's been a slow start for Marte, although the D-Backs are hovering at 9-7 to start the year
When he and Geraldo Perdomo get rolling, this offense could start to make some real noise
Elly De La Cruz batting right-handed BEFORE 2026:
- 13 HR in 550 PA
Elly De La Cruz batting right-handed IN 2026:
- 4 HR in 23 PA
That's a rate of 736% more right-handed homers. I think we can guess what he worked on this offseason?
MLB Division Leaders Through 15-16 Games
AL East: Tampa Bay Rays
AL Central: Minnesota Twins
AL West: Texas Rangers
NL East: Atlanta Braves
NL Central: Pittsburgh Pirates
NL West: Los Angeles Dodgers
Of these teams, only LAD won their division in 2025
Baseball is awesome!
In four starts this season, José Soriano has faced 15 batters over the minimum
76% of plate appearances against him have resulted in a strikeout or ground ball
The offenses he's faced:
- Astros
- Cubs
- Braves
- Reds
He's allowed just one run. What else do we need to see?
2026 ERA vs. Innings Pitched (Qualified Pitchers)
Sandy Alcantara is in a world of his own, averaging 8 IP per start with an 0.74 ERA
The only two runs he allowed were runners inherited by relievers
Other standouts include José Soriano, Max Fried, and Eduardo Rodriguez
@DEATHBYPALMTREE@thestevenwoods@DAIRYBOYZZ Based on typical reliever WAR vs position player WAR, I say no. But it’s not out of the realm of possibility if De Vries career starts out cloudy
Mason Miller has accumulated 0.7 fWAR in 2026
That is more than:
- Tarik Skubal
- Paul Skenes
- Garrett Crochet
- Bryan Woo
------------------
- Shohei Ohtani
- Aaron Judge
- Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
- Kyle Schwarber
As a single-inning reliever, Miller's value is unreal
