Meanwhile the Petroleum Ministry has been telling 140 crore Indians for a year that the drop is “just 1-6%” and dismissing every complaint as “fake news.”

A LocalCircles survey of 24,710 vehicle owners found 66% of pre-2023 petrol cars are losing over 10% mileage. 25% are losing over 20%.

Real people. Real bills. Real engine damage.

And who owns the ethanol companies benefiting from this forced mandate? Nitin Gadkari’s own sons run Manas Agro and CIAN Agro; built out of his family’s Purti Group; supplying the very fuel his ministry is ramming down the country’s throat.

You’re not paying more for “green fuel.”

You’re paying more to fund a minister’s family business while your bike and car engines wear out early.

Petrol is cheaper in Pakistan and Sri Lanka than India. And they don’t even use mandatory Ethanol Blending like India which is damaging engine of vehicles and giving lower mileage. Guess they don’t have a Minister whose family benefits from Blending while common people suffer
