Booking ID: NF7ALEC525711132701 was cancelled on 23 May 2026 but refund is not processed completely even after 10 days. All calls goes to AI caller and it keeps saying to wait for 48 hrs .
My pervious experience has been very smooth except for this one .

Mitsubishi Shipbuilding organizes the launch ceremony of a test vessel, for the transport of liquefied CO2

#TOKYO - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Group's Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co Ltd, held a launch ceremony for a test vessel designed to transport liquefied carbon dioxide (LCO2).

The ceremony, which took place in the presence of ship owner Sanyu Kisen Co Ltd and representatives of other partners, took place at MHI's Shimonoseki Shipyard and Machinery Works, in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

The Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA) will charter the vessel from Sanyu Kisen and install and operate the LCO2 marine tank system, which will be used for research and development. Three other project partners, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd (K-LINE), Nippon Gas Line Co Ltd and Ochanomizu University, were commissioned by ENAA to carry out research and development on onboard LCO2 pressure control and stability and design demonstration experiments. Moreover, to develop and present technologies for safe and affordable CO2 transport.

Mitsubishi Shipbuilding is responsible for all aspects of the ship from design to construction, including the cargo protection system, application of gas handling technologies and expertise gained in the construction of liquid gas carriers (both #LPG and #LNG types).

The CO2 capture, use and storage (#CCUS) has gained recognition as a constructive way to attain a carbon-neutral society. Since the sources of CO2 emissions are often located far from the sites selected for CO2 utilization or storage, the demand for LCO2 carriers that can transport such cargo safely and economically is expected to grow. The Mitsubishi #Shipbuilding will use the experience acquired from building this vessel, to strengthen its #business for #MHI Group's #energy transition strategy and develop the several technologies required for LCO2 vessels, to generate the CCUS value chain.
