Shrewsbury is for residents, businesses, visitors, cyclists, delivery drivers, older, younger. We look to include the views of EVERYONE, not just the most vocal

@ShropshireStar Very odd school policy. What do they make the girls wear for swimming lessons or PE? Do they segregate the children? Or do boys wear shorts and they make girls wear leggings? Totally unfair to exclude girls from school for wearing weather appropriate uniform
A row has broken out between a mother and a school in Shrewsbury after her daughter was turned back at the school gates two days running for wearing short socks instead of tights. https://t.co/4HP9TR2HxJ
@ShropCouncil We were hoping that were to stop the noisy, anti-social boy racers who use town centre as a race track - same drivers every night, yet police do nothing
Why weren’t roads closed on the Easter bank holidays? biggest difficulty is the re-routing of buses & the day that there were no buses the roads were open! A missed opportunity. Hope they’re closed for the 4 days of the Jubilee and May Day @OriginalShrews@ShropshireStar
@HarbottleJ@Shazzii66@StrictlyGirls That is true, but you could also infect them with flu, or any number of horrible things that could kill them, and we don’t test for those, we just use our common sense about staying home
@Janetcobb @plotfolk @mrrobwilson Disagree. During trial loading bay on Shoplatch suspended. Shrewsbury is not Utrecht, we are small, hilly market town with ageing population. Access is needed for all, not just the young and fit. Pedestrianisation in Summer is great, but not in the winter
