Oh, what's that? Oh I know, this is my next PC upgrade; 512GB SSD!! 😄
I highly appreciate those who commissioned me enough so that I can finally afford this component, thank you all so much ^^ 💙
bootstrapping a $5 Windows desktop app as a solo indie dev in 2026
3 lessons from launching Scan My Disk this week:
1. zero churn = peace of mind. pricing at $5 one-time eliminates cancel anxiety and builds instant customer goodwill.
2. developers love Age Maps. people don't just want to see big files; they want to see the 30 GB of files they haven't opened since 2024
3. 100% local privacy wins. no cloud uploads, no tracking telemetry, and zero server hosting overhead means I can offer lifetime access profitably.
building tools people actually own will always beat forced subscriptions.
Grab you licence only in $5 for lifetime

small ScanMyDisk pricing update 💰
early-bird price is now $5 lifetime for the first 20 licenses
3/20 sold → 17 left
after that, price goes to $9.99 lifetime
one-time payment. no subscription
@pelloiafilippo@thecatzeus3@IlyaPion@tudorxjh that means a lot 💖
supporting because you actually needed the product hits way harder than a random “support purchase”.
hope ScanMyDisk saves you a ton of space.

glad it’s useful!
btw i just pushed a bunch of new features to ScanMyDisk:
• cleaner grouped sidebar
• deletion-risk guidance
• ranked cleanup suggestions
• temp/cache/log cleanup
• optional cleanup schedules
• JPEG + PNG optimization with previews
original images stay untouched.
just update to the latest version and you should get them all.
wait.. this SaaS did $19 revenue in 30 days and still sold for $1.5k 🤯
ScanMyDisk is already at $11.10 revenue
so technically… maybe i can sell it for $500–$700 already 😂
probably not selling it tho. i want to see how far i can take it.

Acquisition #194 on TrustMRR 🎉
That’s what I’ve added to Scan My Disk- risk labels,
why a folder is a cleanup candidate, and what removing it could affect.
It uses known paths and project clues;
when the origin is unclear, it says so.
You review the guidance before anything goes to the Recycle Bin.
Hope now you doubt are clear and I will got my #3 Sale today
wait.. someone just picked my app out of 41 products! 🥹
@pelloiafilippo started a challenge with just $20, asking indie hackers to pitch their products.
41 builders joined. He bought only 3 products.
And my Windows app, Scan My Disk, was one of them!!
I built this little tool to help people see what's eating their disk space.
Seeing someone actually choose it and pay for it means a lot.
Huge thanks to Philip for supporting small indie builders like me ❤️

who deserve MORE ATTENTION. ⚠️
Thank you to EVERYONE who shared their work
and took the time to pitch it to me. 🫶
One thing I want to say:
WE'RE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT.
We might compete sometimes
but at the end of the day, we're all trying to build something, solve problems, and improve our lives.
SUPPORT EACH OTHER. 🥳
A little support can go a long way.
I HAD A LOT OF FUN DOING THIS.
Maybe we should do it AGAIN sometime? 👀
