JNN reports, a Japanese student, who visited HK recently, was arrested by #hkpolice near #polyu. Even though he hadn’t thrown any stone, he's charged with “rioting” & forcibly beaten in police station, just like other #Polystudents. It shows police starts to arrest ppl w/o reason
Hong Kong friends, if I could be in HK I would be there now. To stand with u, speak with u, speak up for u. But as u may know, 2 years ago I was denied entry,& so I don't think I can visit u right now. But I want you to know I still stand with you & try to speak out #StandwithHK
Hong Kongers, I hope you know it, but in case you don't, I'm with you & doing everything I possibly can to speak for you. I am praying, I'm writing, I am tweeting, I'm lobbying, I am advocating. If I could be in Hong Kong I'd be with you. But I'm with you in spirit. #StandwithHK
#PolyU. Some students requiring medical aid have surrendered and waiting to be sent to hospitals. Most suffer from low body temp, as seen here covered with thermal wraps

Yesterday I thought the attitude from the police towards the students couldn’t get worse. But reading this morning about what is happening on ground at Polytechnic University is like watching a massacre in slow motion. It’s a human catastrophe #StandwithHK https://t.co/b3k8GVA1ae
SAVE POLY U!
The protesters trapped inside for almost 40 hours. No food No tower gas for cooking! The police shoots, beats, hits, used more than 100 tg to suffocated them...When the protesters want to sleep and sit,the police arrested them immediately They cannot go out and hold up!
The police shouted to the protesters: “我要令六四重演!
(I want the Tiananmen Incident occurred repeatedly!)”
We cannot restrain the Tiananmen Incident because it became a history but we must prevent massacre from happening in HK!
How unsympathetic the police is?
What is tear gas?
Tear gas is one of “weapons” that police used to HANDLE the protesters! But no one knows that how tg harm to us. Some of the reporters and protesters have already suffered from chloracne. We should rebel it or say “OK fine!” to it?

“What we can see is a pattern of escalation whereby police tactics have functioned to radicalize the population,” @cliffordstott tells @business for our story: ‘Everyone Is Angry’: How police aggression fuels Hong Kong protests, by @BlakeSchmidt and I:

We are very concerned about the escalating violence in #HongKong, & reports that police may use live ammunition on protestors. An urgent inquiry into police abuse is critical. HK authorities must comply with international law on the use of force & seek to de-escalate the crisis.
Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing tried asking #HongKong police in 3 different locations for dialogue, to find way to help the students & protesters inside #PolyU to leave peacefully
#HKPolice rejected all his requests
#HongKongProstest#HKPoliceState
Why the Students want to stay at PolyU? Because they want to save Hong Kong! They don't want to lose their home! Please us to spread out and let others know the tragedy happening in Hong Kong!

@fromhongkonger He didn’t appear to save his students. And his students, even general public are waiting him to say something, but we cannot see his trace. It is definitely equal to “disappear”,right?
The principal of poly u is disappeared and his students are still trapped but he didn’t come out to help them. The police enforced the reporters to leave, not to report the news and end the live!
Is freedom of the media still exist? Or even destroyed by the HK police?
