@FirstSouthYorks Thanks. Can I ask how much notice is required to allow operators to publish route changes, and also what happens after incidences line this, as they seem to be mor frequent than they used to be, and someone in a works dept somewhere should be getting feedback…
@TravelSYorks @FirstSouthYorks tonight Abbeydale Road (Sheffield) was closed by roadworks, from north of junction with Wolseley Rd - that look planned as signs have been out for days - but no info I can find on either website about bus diversion routes. Any clues..?
*tap tap* ahem, is this thing on..?
No idea if anyone’s still using this crevasse of despair but hey, I’m #fundraising so also shameless…

@TravelSYorks @FirstSouthYorks (Corr: High Storrs Rd).
& wouldn’t it be normal practice for a driver to inform passengers of a change to a route as they got on? As we sailed past the Greystones Rd junction there were a lot of confused people who def hadn’t been told they wouldn’t be passing their stop.
PSA for anyone in Greystones hoping to get the 82 bus towards Millhouses - driver’s missed out most of that section and has rejoined route at Hoober Rd @FirstSouthYorks @TravelSYorks
@TravelSYorks @FirstSouthYorks Hi, thanks but Dobcroft Rd is on the return route. Unless there was an obstruction on Greystones Road or High Storrs Drive, the driver just got it wrong. And he’d told a passenger earlier that the 82 turned off before Banner Cross so…
@FirstSouthYorks app down again, so can’t tell if the bus that just left my stop before the next one was due, was early (despite being less than a minute from a fare stage / timing point) or was the previous one running very late.
@FirstSouthYorks … the app is actively trying to stop us using buses right now.
I can live with flinging myself into the road to flag the bus in the absence of stops, & the fun game ‘guess where the driver will choose to let me get off today’ if I could at least see estimated times.
@FirstSouthYorks Thanks Beth. Is the team also working on adding bus stops for the 82 Millhouses loop that changed direction with no warning? Or fixing the fact that the app thinks we should walk 15mins to a bus stop for a bus that passes the end of our road 90secs away..? Cos it feels like…
Is there a polite way of saying, “my mobile number is at the bottom of all my emails, so if you have the incorrect one, maybe brush up on your copy’n’paste skills’..?
@LeilaKtan When winner against (I think..?) the current champ celebrated, it prompted an ‘alright mate, keep yer codpiece in check’ from me, cos it could have come straight out of an Olympics-set version of Romeo & Juliet. I’m guessing the pantaloons help them all to channel Mercutio..?
A bit more in love with #AnnaHenderson, after her off-mic post-race chat with #GraceBrown, when the vision mixer didn’t cut away quite in time to avoid seeing her miming a tricky bit of course and start saying “fu…..”! 😆
@AllusionistShow apologies if you know this already, but just discovered the Newcastle live show link on your website actually takes you to Cambridge Junction page - right show, different everything else.

@greg_jenner I love her as a presenter but it’s always podcasts or (semi) scripted. She flawlessly snaps into live, totally-in-command-of-her-subject lecturer/science communicator mode, which I’d not seen before. So damn good.
