In a way, they already did that through orderly propaganda, but the chaotic scenario is always on the table.

About Professor Dugin's "meltdown" on Twitter... All rhetoric aside, I think this proved (once again) a very important point: a good deal of those so-called "conservative friends of Russia in the West", who were subscribed to Dugin and fawned over him mere days ago, are just so many wolves in sheep's clothing.
The moment Dugin said something that "rubbed them wrong", the moment he showed what even to me appeared as human weakness - they bared their teeth and tore at him like so many mad hyenas. Dugins mistake was showing his wounds in public: the smell of Russian blood drove his "conservative friends" crazy.
And not one of those "conservatives" thought, even for a moment, that maybe in this "meltdown" Dugin was more like King Lear, screaming in despair on a blasted heath. For Dugin, too, had his Cordelia murdered. And yet those "friends" struck at him and hounded him like so many Gonerils and Regans.

What can I add? As a Russian philosopher myself I say - lesson learnt.
