@Mister_Greer@socialstudiestx@historysandoval @JakeMillerTech Last year was fully digital due to COVID and virtual classes. This year is 50/50. Middle school students are definitely less tempted to view their email or video games when they are not quickly available.
It’s so exciting when students really get into a lesson and go above and beyond with the assignment! These are the students who make my job worth the hard work and hours! #MagnaCarta#myowngreatcharter
Coolest teacher technology trick I learned this year?
Adding the dash (-) between the “t” and “u” of any YouTube video and it takes away the ads and all of that. It’s super cool and makes the video less tacky.

@BergrenMaureen@historyjmp@SMMHSEagles @KELLEYokms We posted our ideas for change this year on our classroom door found in a NearPod. The students were able to read and like each other’s ideas for change.
@ChattanoogaChat Yes, that is the true challenge! I’ve been very lucky to have my own mini-professor back living with me during Covid. My daughter has taken several social based literature classes in college. We have had many eye-opening discussions. It is very scary to search your mind & soul!
@ChattanoogaChat You have become my new motivator - no pressure! Your goals and enthusiasm have inspired my new read! This one’s extra and my own choice.
Don’t let the title confuse you. He is right but for the wrong reason! We can’t cherry-pick from the highlight reel and call it a day, but that is exactly what some curriculum maps and pacing guides force us to do. We have an obligation to do better. https://t.co/CmAUI9aPCl
Students nailed/posted their own thesis of what they would Reform in the world after learning how Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Whitenburg. Several are very powerful. #HCS_SocStudies@OoltewahMS
