We lost my brother Tony last night. It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today. When he walked into a room he’d light it up with laughter. He was kind, generous, & a wonderful husband to Megan & father to Zach, Simon, & Fiona. We’ll miss him very much.
Sometimes I think about how @KamalaHarris was only in the second class at her elementary school to be integrated. How parents wouldn’t let their kids play with her and her sister because they were black.
That was less than 50 years ago. Now she’s running for President.
.@HillaryClinton went to the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk, stood right in front of the abdonded & bankrupted Trump Plaza Hotel to warn voters about his disasterous, failed, debt ridden business record. It doesn’t get much more obvious than her stagecraft and speech on that day.
As I have traveled the country over the last year listening to women, I have met more than I can count who have been inspired by @HillaryClinton to run for office, march, organize, and come together to solve big, important problems. As Mom would say, you can't un-ring a bell.
My heart goes out to Paris. Notre Dame is a symbol of our ability as human beings to unite for a higher purpose—to build breathtaking spaces for worship that no one person could have built on their own. I wish France strength and shared purpose as they grieve and rebuild.
Have there been any magazine covers of Kamala Harris' face bathed in sunlight as she longingly looks to the heavens wishing she could reach for that pot of gold? https://t.co/B7gNCSrnUr
Bill and I are about to go on stage in Michigan with @RedHourBen—I’m not sure what we’ll talk about, I just know I'm looking forward to it. See you soon, Detroit.
“One of the worst things this administration could do is separate children and not have a system in place. I would go to the tech companies and say, ‘you’ve got 15 days, give me a system. That’s what somebody who’s trying to solve the problem would be doing" @HillaryClinton#WITW
Note that Hillary Clinton always had a fairly good relationship with the reporters following the State Department. It's not HRC vs. the press, it's the DC political press vs. Hillary Clinton. Her bad press has always come from a very specific quarter.
