Season 4 of #TheWitcher displays the same #onScreen production values as #Hercules: The legendary journeys, starring @ksorbs, in 1995 reportedly produced for $1 million per episode. Accounting for inflation, #thewitcher4 cost more than 10 times that per episode. #disgraceful
The #AlienEarth#timeline seems just about right. It takes place in 2120 2 years before the events of the movie #Alien, where spacecraft in this universe can travel 20 times the speed of light and Thedus, 55 light-years from earth. So the #Nostromo will have already launched.
@mypalal@Nerdrotics About 25 years ago there was a Chinese restaurant in homestead, Florida. That as far as I know is the southernmost Chinese restaurant in the continental United States. It was called (drum roll please) Cha-Ching!
.@makersmuse can you corroborate this? https://t.co/hety1lcECs @3dprintingnerd how much filament would we need to dehydrate to finance emigration to #Australia ?
.@tim_cook why was the capture completed in the #creditcard transaction prior to the shipping date of the purchased product? While the product still has not shipped, why did #apple refuse me the opportunity to cancel my order based on the delayed shipment?
@EchoChamYT Does posing a demand as a future infinitive actually increase its effectiveness? I guess the idea is to reduce its offensive presentation, but given the likely circumstances in which this instruction is given, how often is it followed? It would be interesting to see some stats.
.@KonstantinKisin Saw your YouTube video on the Cobra effect this evening. Strangely, in all my years of studying perverse incentives through the lens of economics and game theory, I hadn't come across that story. Having not grown up in the UK or India may not be a good excuse.
@karpathy While there would be similarity in real world trading data sets, to the extent that there's only so much data to provide, it's also likely that synthetic data generated by the same subset of larger models would also be similar, resulting in this type of convergence over time
@elonmusk .@lindayaX your methodology suggests that I should be worried about being sued for not purchasing a #tesla. What if I'm so lazy as to not have built a satellite that I need #SpaceX to launch? Maybe #threatening to #sue your potential #customers is not a winning #strategy...
@EchoChamYT Seems like you've bypassed the primary argument - If the story is well-written enough to support true suspension of disbelief, then the details become less significant, and any flaws avoid becoming fodder for argument...
What say you @Nerdrotics@TheCriticalDri2#versimilitude
