@finkd @narendramodi @AshwiniVaishnaw @GoI_MeitY On behalf of millions of Indian digital creators, we want to raise some serious questions to Meta and the Government of India.

Fake Copyright Strikes and Copyright Extortion have become a major concern on Facebook and Instagram. False copyright claims can lead to content removal, monetization loss, account suspension, account disablement, and in some cases permanent account deletion. Years of hard work, digital identity, and millions of followers can be lost within days.

There have also been reports of scammers using virtual emails, VPNs, foreign numbers, and fake identities to file claims and then demand money in the name of "settlement."

We are also aware of a 12M+ follower creator account where a copyright case remains unresolved even after 15–16 days. This is not just one creator's issue—it reflects a broader concern affecting the creator community.

Questions for Meta and the Government of India:

• Why is full identity verification not mandatory before submitting copyright claims?
• Why are Human Review decisions not provided within 24–48 hours?
• Why are wrongly removed contents not restored immediately?
• Why is there no dedicated grievance system for Indian creators?
• Why do creators who pay for Meta Verified and support services still struggle to receive fast assistance in account deletion and copyright-related cases?

Our Demands:

✅ No copyright claim should be accepted without complete identity verification
✅ Human Review responses should be provided within 24–48 hours
✅ Wrongfully removed content should be restored immediately
✅ Fast-track support should be available for account deletion and copyright-related cases
✅ A dedicated grievance redressal system should be established for Indian creators

Millions of creators deserve transparency, accountability, and timely support.

We spent years building our pages, creating original content, and growing genuine communities through hard work and dedication.

Yet today, thousands of creators are facing account restrictions, suspensions, and fake copyright strikes without clear explanations, transparent review processes, or fair resolutions.

Reports involving creators such as Aryan Kelvin, Puneet Superstar, and Dharmendra Bilotia have further increased concerns across the creator community.

When creators seek help, they are often directed toward paid support channels. Even then, many receive neither clear answers nor timely solutions.

Creators deserve transparency, fair reviews, protection against fraudulent copyright claims, accountability, and access to real human support.

It’s time for Meta to listen to the creators who have invested years into building its platforms and communities.
