@OnlyInBOS Cool project but that budget is astronomical.
Could they not just add concrete barriers to the bike lanes on Alford st and Fellsway bridges?
@danielhertzberg@the_transit_guy Absolutely! Every college kid who moved to the city is told not to be in KP at night.
I don’t know a single 20 something year old girl who would feel safe doing waiting for a bus there alone at night. Terrible we allow it.
@the_transit_guy Yes, the hub won’t be exactly in the highest ridership areas, but many buses will still serve the downtown area, including KP!
Your anecdote about Railroad St is a valid concern and I hope they add a protected bus lane.
We should try to make things better!
@the_transit_guy Potential for desperately needed new housing. KP can be turned back into a usable communal space for the city.
Currently KP is disgusting, unsafe, and offers no services for riders. Under this plan, bus riders can wait indoors and have access to clean restrooms and shops.
@KRISTENW00DS@Natsecjeff The greatest collection of art in human history is absolutely a cause worth dying for. It certainly beats dying for oil, and we do that once a decade.
@greatavanscott@1989TVblondie@USA_Polling No, unfortunately not. Polling errors in races like the Michigan primary benefited the moderate candidates. Error resulted from difficultly contacting rural voters. I’d expect the error to benefit republicans, but by how much is the question.
