This Reflex Robotics unit runs an entire pizza order from start to finish, spreading sauce, adding toppings, sliding the pie into the oven with a long paddle, and boxing the finished pizza for the counter. The restaurant piloting this reportedly saved close to $130,000 annually in kitchen labor costs, since one robot now covers what used to require two or three line cooks working a full dinner rush every single night.

Pizza kitchens run on speed and consistency during peak hours, which is exactly why staffing costs stay high, you need enough hands to keep orders moving without slowing down. A robot that saucing, topping, and boxes at a steady pace removes that staffing pressure entirely.

If this keeps scaling past one location, late night pizza orders could start coming out of kitchens with barely anyone working the line.
