@afalkhatib Thank you for the beautiful words that recognize humanity on both sides and call out Hamas for their atrocities. Hope this war will end soon, hostages will be released safely, and Palestinians can rebuild their lives with a government that has people’s interests in its heart.
“Why we are depressed? Because we are trying to do all the things in the universe, and we fail to do them.” Thank you for this insight. It’s humble to be reminded that we should focus on improving ourselves first @MosabHasanYOSEF 🙏 #lifephilosophy https://t.co/7dRhhC4911
Great @WomenTechmakers event at #GoogleIO this year. Especially love the panelists’ point about taking small strategic risks in different areas. We could use more of these honest & real discussions to learn how successful women made it. The Q&A portion had a huge line.

#ComputerScience students interviewing for entry-level roles MUST know basic CS concepts: object orientated programming, data structures, algorithms. No exceptions. I talked to too many CS students in this generation and they don’t have the fundamentals.

One patient interviewed in her late 20s had to do an #oophorectomy because her cyst was the size of a cantaloupe. She’s at risk of having another oophorectomy, which would put her in early menopause. Heart-breaking.

There seems to be fractions among the #endometriosis community:
(1) Sampson's theory of retrograde menstruation vs Redwine's theory of Mulleriosis
(2) Excision surgeries vs treatment via medications
(3) Out-of-network private practices vs insurance-covered hospital/health system
Many physicians I interviewed @neuemoonhealth said the ways for women with #fibroids and #endometriosis to get better care are:
(1) Patients have to speak up
(2) Patients have to find providers who listen
Seems like a lot of burden to be put on patients.
