It has also been observed that Fuel pump owners taking undue advantage of #E20 blending program for unjust adulteration of fuel. @BJP4India fucked up the fuel in India.
Ethanol will hurt the BJP electorally, not because of car owners, the are just 8% of the population, but because of bike owners, who make up 60%.
Every issue with a bike, irrespective of whether it's due to ethanol or not, is being blamed on ethanol. Remember that the overwhelming majority of car and bike mechanics are not your voters and, in fact, they hate you and you know why. They are actively telling anyone with any bike issue that it is due to ethanol. Not only does it serve a political purpose, but it is also easy and convincing.
Car and bike dealers are equally happy to lean into this excuse because it completely deflects blame away from the manufacturers and their own service centers. If a part fails prematurely or a vehicle suffers from a chronic engineering defect, blaming ethanol allows dealers to shift the responsibility onto government policy rather than admitting to poor build quality or honoring warranty claims. It gives them a convenient, politically charged scapegoat that customers readily accept, shielding the automotive brands from reputational damage.
It's up to the BJP to smell the coffee. The issue is no longer on Twitter and no longer raised just by English-speaking metro car owners. It has gone to the ground. There is still time to wake up and make corrections.
P.S. I'm not defending ethanol here. It does damage engines and parts. I've been strongly opposing it and will keep doing so. I'm only saying what's happening on the ground. The BJP should do a course correction on ethanol solely because its implementation was wrong and correcting it is only logical. However, since politicians see every controversy from the standpoint of electoral gains and losses, I'm telling them that it will hurt them electorally too.

Biggest bane of our national governance is non tracking of precious hard earned public money under the oversight and control of politicians, public servants and priests ( all denominations)
The day this becomes a mission India will be #ViksitBharat.
Baki party ka chakkar khatm kro ..#China ki tarah Unitary state bana do India ko, yeh sahi rahega. Election me lagne wale paise se free ration batwao garibo me.
If Congress returns to power,
1. They will restore IWT amd stop all hydropower projects
2. Cancel all HSR projects
3. Move back all govt schemes from DBT to cash handouts so that Congi ecosystem can start looting again
4. Weaken indegenous defense procurement & strengthen Chandigarh lobby to import weapons again
Indians are the only people in the world who quietly pay for every government failure out of their own pocket.
Dirty water? Buy an RO.
No electricity? Buy an inverter.
Polluted air? Buy an air purifier.
No gas supply? Buy an induction.
Bad schools? Pay for private tuition.
We don’t protest. We purchase.
And then the government calls it “growing consumer economy.”
@bakarwaar@REDBOXINDIA Maruti was always a big time beneficiary of GoI policies be it tax relief on sub 4 meter or Engine size smaller than 1.5L or introduction of CNG vehicles.
Why is there so much fuss about Vaibhav playing or not? Ab Vaibhav ke naam par logo ki dukane chalengi? I would say get a life, he is gonna play sooner or later. India won the world cup without Vaibhav.
India needs a proper action plan for football - so that we can play in the World Cup finals by 2034 if not 2030.
Somehow, I'm not convinced that changing the name of the Federation is going to get us there...
Maruti launched an E85-powered WagonR, but the price tag makes absolutely no sense. It costs ₹85,000 more than the regular (E20) version.
Why would anyone pay a premium upfront just to get higher daily running costs?
When you pay extra for an EV or a CNG car, it is a smart move because the fuel is cheap and you save money in the long run. The E85 WagonR does the exact opposite:
E85 fuel looks great at the pump because it is roughly ₹20 cheaper per L than regular petrol. But then, ethanol has less energy than petrol, causing the car's mileage to drop by a massive 30% to 40%.
Because the mileage drops so drastically, you end up burning way more fuel just to travel the same distance. The fuel discount is instantly wiped out, leaving you with a higher daily driving bill than a standard petrol car.
So, who is this actually for? No buyer is going to hand over an extra ₹85,000 just to get terrible mileage, spend more money every single week, and deal with the massive headache of hunting down rare E85 fuel stations in India.

उस दिल्ली और बंगाल को भाजपा ने तब जीत लिया जब मोदी जी की लोकप्रियता पूरे देश में पाताल में जा रही... कैसे?
Just read the huge news and this is a tsunami for the energy markets! Our friend UAE has just announced its decision to withdraw from OPEC & OPEC+, effective May 1, 2026. From our INDIA's pov this means a much more flexible oil supply for Bharat from a key partner, in my opinion (potential) easing of prices, helping India with lower import bills & obviously stronger bilateral ties between our two great nations. UAE would have spoken to our INDIA before taking this huge decision! In a way potentially could be good for our energy security!
Apparently, this is one of the earliest known photographs of the sacred Kedarnath Dham, taken in 1882.
Couldn’t take my eyes off it.
No roads. No railheads. No helicopters.
Just the abode of Lord Shiva, cradled by the Himalayas
Back then, the yatra demanded time, endurance, & faith. The journey wasn’t incidental; it WAS the pilgrimage.
Today, access is easier. And that’s a good thing because it opens the experience to many more.
But perhaps something still needs preserving?
The ability to slow down & savour the experience of traveling.
Because journeys are about who we become along the way.

International crude prices have gone through the roof in the last 1 month from around 70 dollars/barrel to around 122 dollars/barrel. Consequently, petrol and diesel prices for consumers have gone up all over the world. Prices have increased by around 30%-50% in South East Asian countries, 30% in North American countries, 20% in Europe and 50% in African countries.
The Modi Government had two choices- either increase prices drastically for citizens of Bharat as all other nations have done or bear the brunt on its finances so that Indian citizen is insulated from international volatility.
Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji, in keeping with his Government’s commitment of last 4 years since the conflict in Russia-Ukraine started, decided to take a hit on its own finances again to safeguard the Indian citizen.
Government has taken a huge hit on it taxation revenues to ensure very high losses of oil companies (approximately 24 Rs/litre for petrol and 30 Rs/litre for diesel) at this time of sky high international prices are reduced. At the same time, export tax has been levied as international prices of petrol and diesel have skyrocketed and any refinery exporting to foreign nations will have to pay export tax. My gratitude to Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble FM @nsitharaman Ji for this very timely, bold and visionary decision!
