R.I.P. Uston; 'The genesis block is not a message to be signed—it is a hardcoded artefact, the root anchor of a distributed timestamp server.' - Cs Tominaga
I do think if people could get beyond the fud and just look at the technical accomplisnments BSV has achieved, this thing could turn around fast. Especially Developers - I can't imagine a serious Developer not being able to see the potential.
She proved she'd face torture in her home country. They say they're just enforcing the law, but there's no legal requirement to find a country where this woman has never lived to send her to. They're taking a million unnecessary steps to enforce the law punitively.
Yet, you can't do anything with it.
Try real Bitcoin, Jeff.
The one that works. The one that has real utility, real purpose. The one that follows the Whitepaper. The one which scales at the base layer. The one which utilises SPV, something you know little about. The one which enables micropayments.
The richest people on earth are either moronic, do not understand bitcoin, or are greed driven and jumped into the Ponzi, ultimately screwing everyone else at the bottom.
Wake up.
BTC is an altcoin Fork, with an altered protocol. SegWit is not in the Whitepaper. LN was a 'solution' to 'the scaling issue'. The 'scaling issue', however — was never an issue, was it?
@receipts_lol Yes that’s true. And I saw many of the homes they left standing with the interiors trashed; covered in graffiti, human feces, appliances ripped out and destroyed. I have hundreds of photos
You’ve spent $31 million in our race on 30 second attack ads and “as a result, listeners were subjected to several inaccuracies, omissions, and mischaracterizations about our work and our members.”
@jack Dorsey warns about five CEOs controlling AI while having spent years running a platform that decided what millions were allowed to say. He also co-founded @opencryptoorg with the only purpose of taking legal action against Dr Craig Wright to stop his claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto and prevent the world of using Bitcoin without middlemen. The irony is that he now presents himself as a champion against centralised control.
There’s a lot of focus right now on the US Senate’s struggle to pass their digital asset market structure bill. I suspect they’ll succeed, although possibly not until the wee hours of the morning on the final day of the session before the midterm break (like the online gambling law that passed in 2006).
America’s legislative struggles have overshadowed regulatory advances in other countries, but politicians everywhere are belatedly realizing that blockchain tech can be so much more than just crypto grifters preying on desperate people looking for instant riches.
Memecoin hypers, platforms promising ‘yield’ of dubious origin, the extractive middlemen calling themselves digital asset treasuries... A plague on all their houses for the time and reputational damage they’ve cost us all.
The online gambling sector was in its own ‘wild west’ period when I joined, but guys like me (with MBAs rather than a history of making book by the payphone at the back of the bar) helped usher in its more mature phase. It was a necessary change, without which the sector wouldn’t have grown to the extent it has today. The same phenomenon is now happening in blockchain.
The time for tokens and price speculation is over. The time for protocols, ones that offer utility and can expand to accommodate whatever the market requires, is nigh. Hence my belief that the BSV Blockchain’s future has never looked brighter.
BSV has utility in its DNA, honouring the living, breathing, expanding platform described in Satoshi’s white paper. BSV kept its eye firmly on the horizon, anticipating what the world will need decades from now and designing its foundation accordingly.
The ‘V’ in BSV stands for vision but it could also mean ‘versatile.’ Boundless scaling capacity. Fast settlement times. Cost-effective transactions. An immutable protocol offering certainty to developers that the ground won’t suddenly shift under their feet.
For those BSV supporters who sometimes feel like they’ve been waiting in the desert for their ship to come in, may I remind you that sea levels are on the rise? Cometh the hour, cometh the protocol. This is BSV’s hour.
Remember the statement of Australian female doctors in Gaza:
We are filming this because we could die at any moment.
80% of our patients are children and pregnant women.
I delivered a baby from a 9-month-pregnant woman who had been decapitated.
Please stop this terror.
This. These arrests—of people with all kind of applications for lasting status pending with USCIS—are unprecedented and incomprehensible. Their original stay expires bc USCIS is slow. That’s not their fault and it’s normally part of the normal process.
Ask yourself why the sudden obsession with Fauci now, all in lock step? What are they trying to distract from now? The shitshow in Iran? The economic decline at home? Still no full Epstein files? Trump’s corruption?
After polls indicate that Americans agree with Zohran that Netanyahu should be arrested, another shows that Americans, by a wide margin, agree Israel committed "genocide" in Gaza: almost every demographic group say this.
Amazing how the Fox/DNC/X consensus is so out of touch:
Here are photos I took in February of 2025 of Israeli soldiers walking house to house in the town of Yaroun, Lebanon. They were rigging homes with C4 explosives for multiple days in a row; taking the day to rig them and then detonating them in the evening. They flattened several neighborhoods during the period of time.
In the photos you can see IDF soldiers wiring the homes and carrying C4. You can also see a truck transporting a large amount of the explosives.
This was not self defense. Each detonation is an act of genocide.
Worth naming who's actually getting swept into this, since expired visas sounds abstract. Chantal Morales Rojas filed her extension paperwork before her visa lapsed, passed every DHS background check for three and a half years, and had an active work permit from the same agency that arrested her. Agents pulled her out of the jetway in Denver as a friend filmed her being marched down to the tarmac.
A Ugandan woman with sickle cell anemia and a pending asylum claim was detained in her wheelchair. A newlywed married to a US citizen was taken into custody landing in Burbank with her husband standing right there. None of these people have criminal records. All of them had pending, lawful applications already filed.
A lawyer with thirty eight years in immigration law said flatly he'd never seen this before. That's the actual headline, not the bureaucratic phrase visa overstay.
If you want to see why Grok is such a useless, right-wing AI bot, here is its response on whether Fetterman calling Zeteo "pro-Hamas" is wrong.
Notice what's missing from this 'AI'? Any actual evidence that Zeteo has been "pro-Hamas."
Don't blindly trust AI, especially Musk's!
