YT really needs to ban more of these channels. This mind-numbing, low-effort engagement bait is getting out of hand:
"Use this sound for x views/subs!"
"Why do y'all treat small creators like they're nothing?"
"If I have 200 views, I should have 200 likes"

@TheLegendaryDAS @TeamYouTube Yes the bug still persists! I tried to contact @TeamYouTube 3 times to no avail...
This bug has been so problematic that it forced me to learn how to edit Shorts elsewhere. I personally recommend DaVinci Resolve. It's free, but takes a bit of time to learn.

@TeamYouTube The layouts in the remix feature for YouTube Shorts has been bugged for over a month now.

Steps:
1. Remix
2. Edit into a Short
3. Layouts
4. Select any layout
5. Continue

You find that the video is stretched out horizontally. Is the dev team aware of this?

@TeamYouTube I only have one phone. I'm unable to test it on other devices as this issue isn't applicable to pc.
As I have mentioned though, many other users suffer from this issue. Please check my previous posts where I have written everything in detail.

@TeamYouTube Still waiting for a solution regarding the bug which stretches out YouTube Shorts videos after selecting any layout using the remix feature.
Cache cleared, signed out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled, updated the app.

@kinoshitaxi @TeamYouTube Until this bug gets fixed, I'm using this workaround:
1. Go to your app store
2. Uninstall the YouTube app
3. Update the app

The solution is only temporary, so the bug will keep coming back. I repeat the above steps daily.

@TeamYouTube Nevermind, I celebrated too soon... The problem came back. Can it be investigated please?
Uninstalling and updating the app is the only workaround I know, but it doesn't last.

@TeamYouTube I already tried logging out and clearing my cache, which didn't help. However I did find another fix.
I had to uninstall the app from the Google Play Store to be shown an update button. The update option wasn't showing when the app was installed.
