The SHIT you hear about Davao City may be true.

Day #5 of Ateneo still not reaching out to the families of both Rene and Divine to tell them what exactly happened that day. The deafening SILENCE reeks of ELITISM, ARROGANCE and DEEPLY COMPLICIT, as though it no longer feels any obligation to reach out to the grieving families.
An institution that proudly speaks of CURA PERSONALIS and MAGIS should be leading with compassion, transparency, and accountability. Yet in this moment of tragedy, those values seem less like guiding principles and more like words on paper.

Until it values the lives of its recruits infinitely more than its athletic legacy,
It remains standing on its hill.
