@softestbandito no but I get him it's my favorite song on the album and I've heard it hundreds of times but I still can't figure out that fucking part it trips me up every time
friendship breakups hurt so much more because wdym one day we were talking about meeting up someday, sharing our craziest secrets, and then it all just ended on a random day
@bucsukeringo i don't do HR but i keep ending up on hrtwt and jesus christ the amount of 'baby's first fandom' kinda ppl on there is unhinged,,, annyira nonsensically toxic es dramatic fandom h az nemigaz (and i was there for voltron on tumblr), they refuse to learn fandom and ao3 etiquette
more fanfic READERS need to realise that all fanfic WRITERS don’t have to be the best at it. Because you don’t have to be good at your hobbies. It’s for FUN.
where and how can i find a beautiful life companion when it takes 3-4 years to get to know me, im kind of romance and sex repulsed, a terrible conversationalist and have severe depression and bipolar disorder among other things
it’s so fucking hard trying to reach out for help with your mental health when you’re always doing bad. i’m so burnt out. i’m so depressed. i can’t see anything getting better. constantly flitting between feeling an indescribable emptiness or a pain so deep it physically hurts
I won't lie, I do find the "write for yourself" advice overly preachy and without nuance. You can write for yourself and still get very disappointed at the lack of reception. I sure do. I genuinely wouldn't be writing at all if I did not have readers who enjoy reading me.
Two things can be true at the same time: You can write (fics) for yourself and still feel disappointed if no one engages with it; Imagine throwing a party and having no one show up.
