Simulation can compress days of robot learning into minutes.
The remaining challenge is making sure the objects, scenes, and physics match where the robot will actually operate.
Fast training means more when reality is built into the loop.
4,096 simulated Origin robots practicing at once in @NVIDIARobotics’ Isaac Lab.
One run packed 48.5 combined hours of practice into ~6 minutes.
Learning from examples, then trial and error.
Final test: 100/100 successful pick-and-place tasks in simulation.
Why completely overhaul your assembly line when you can just upgrade the operator?
Meet Origin by @hiroindustries, a human-scale dual-arm robot built to drop directly into your existing workstations. For established manufacturers, this means immediate automation value with zero infrastructure downtime. Origin seamlessly automates intricate, high-repetition assembly tasks with human-like dexterity, letting you scale production and eliminate bottlenecks without the multi-million dollar cost of rebuilding your factory floor.
What bottleneck on your floor needs this dual-arm upgrade?
From the workbench to the conveyor.
We’re designing Origin to handle the picking, packing, and transfers that keep production moving.

HIRO is betting businesses need hands before they need legs.
Origin is the company's first robot, a dual-arm platform built around the goal of making automation accessible to more businesses.
Two coordinated arms can handle tasks that are awkward for a single cobot: holding and manipulating simultaneously, regrasping, handoffs, assembly and working with tools.
And for many workstations, none of that requires bipedal locomotion.
The key question for HIRO will be what "accessible" means in practice: price, payload, reach, safety, setup time and how easily Origin can be redeployed across tasks.
There is a potentially large space emerging between traditional cobots and full humanoids.
