Fun to attend the virtual launch of 'Old Ways New Roads' @hunterian last night - looking forward to seeing the online #Exhibition which features LOTS of lovely ASC books - publication is now on sale if you can't wait https://t.co/M8ueDaCZgc
After more than 2 years, and despite the pandemic, the @UofGlasgow @hunterian publication I have been working on with @NigelLeask and @JohnBonehill is out, and we are celebrating with a book launch tonight: join us if you can https://t.co/uFfdvsByNe
Look what arrived! I had the pleasure of working on this exhibition in collaboration with the @hunterian & @UofGlasgow as my thesis. Book launch tonight with @AnneDulau, Nigel Leask & John Bonehill! Chuffed for the mention ☺️.
Great to see @UofGlasgow awarded University of the Year by @timeshighered for their approach to slavery connections and reparative justice. @DrStephenMullen and colleagues have much to be proud of and we're proud to have played our part in keeping Glasgow's past in the spotlight.
ICYMI: @UofGlasgow has been awarded @timeshighered University of the Year for it's work on #slavery & reparative justice, stemming from research in @UofGArts led by Prof Simon Newman & Dr Stephen Mullen supported by @UofGlasgowASC@uofglibrary

As @UofGlasgow’s work on #slavery and reparative justice is recognised through #THEAwards, we are sharing again our Call & Response exhibition, which looked to spark reflection on the connections between our heritage collections and slavery: https://t.co/qpSI8ZAHrr
A beautiful thread of our exhibition Call and Response. It was really a team effort and I could not be more appreciative to be surrounded by such lovely, supportive people. This is just the beginning of many more necessary conversations of reparative justice #THEAwards2020
#UofGCallandResponse was a collaborative project, our heartfelt thanks to our colleagues in @uofglibrary, @UofGArts, Communications, @hunterian, and to all our individual exhibition contributors for their time, expertise, and thoughtful reflections which made this so wonderful
So proud of our colleagues @pandjsmum & @UofGlasgowASC for their work with our collections. And of course @history_bug one of our wonderful students. The power of #SHAPE & the power of the #curator & #archivist
Woke up this morning to a lovely headline in @heraldscotland - University of Glasgow @UofGlasgow named University of the Year by @timeshighered https://t.co/amwwM97tbG
This is really important: this work all began in @UofGArts -It’s a perfect example of why the SHAPE disciplines matter. Without the skills and expertise of our colleagues in history, archives, our library and our wider arts and humanities none of this research would have happened
