You’re invited to subscribe to my weekly podcast “On The 250 River With Dr Dan”. It’s my show (<10 minutes) on real people, real stories, and real stuff from 250 years ago this week. Guaranteed to interest and stimulate! #history
@JeremyTate41 The ages say a lot, as does the education, which of course is your point. However, I tens to think actions and deeds mean a lot, too. Factor those in as well.
My exploration of 1826, 1876, 1926, and 1976 for what we're experiencing in 2026's 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. https://t.co/I2FAgNKuRD
@sowelleconomics There’s a bar. And a guy sitting at the end. Spouting off, getting some things and some things wrong. Glass of beer in his hand. Or it could be a glass of wine. Either way.
@sowelleconomics Understood. The thrust of the point here is clear and I largely agree with it. However, not all percentages are created equal—the Godfather, drug cartels, and some specific real estate developers are private sector too.
It's this day and this week, 250 years ago. And I'm making an introduction to you of someone brand-new. https://t.co/2jSTIlyJAq #leadership#americanrevolution
@Liberty_Fund@SenAlexander@purduemitch Understood, and agreed. But one thing more—I have found, in my series Americanism Redux, that relationships are also part of the endurance of the structure. Take some time and go through some entries: https://t.co/FNVUtzrvzz
Currently, I’m reading RR Palmer’s book on the French Revolution (“Twelve Who Ruled”). Also reading a novel by Marcel Proust (“Swann’s Way”). I recommend this—reading two great books, one fiction and the other non-fiction, set in the same general place. Wonderful experience.
Temp to perm. If you think it’s a modern thing, a here-and-now thing, it’s time to think again. Welcome to Americanism Redux for June 4, 1776/2026. https://t.co/xQQpqiHzJA
I love my alumni. Good things happen when you keep with good people.
Thanks so much to Dr/Brig Gen John McGoff for bringing this to my attention.
