The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.

At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.

Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.

I have deposited the demand on 23 March 2024 at kedl office for new connection but still kedl not given connection us till date even not replying properly. After more than one month passed many follow up still no information.

This is how Private Health Sector is looting peoples. Same will happen in Pvt Banks where MAB is between ₹10000-25000.. Out of 4 Banks identified for Divestment, all came out Negative & showed good profit. Still Govt keen to sell them to Corporates to benefited them!
