▶️Startale Community Call #26 – Key Updates

A solid recap of what stood out from the latest call across Startale App, Soneium, and the broader ecosystem.

1️⃣. TradFi connections expanding

Startale signed an MOU with BlackRock and SBI Holdings to explore linking tokenized money market funds with JPYSC (yen-backed stablecoin). They also joined Open Standard to improve connections between digital assets and traditional finance.
On top of that, Startale made CB Insights’ Fintech 100 list for 2026.

2️⃣. Soneium’s onchain entertainment push

The direction is clearer: an onchain entertainment economy where creators and fans can interact more directly.
Moriusa was introduced as the first IP token on Soneium. The Soneium Portal is meant to make it easier to discover projects, support creators, swap, and bridge.
$SONEIUM was mentioned as planned, but nothing has been issued yet. Wait for official updates.

3️⃣. ipUSD + IP Vault

ipUSD is the dollar stablecoin on Soneium used to enter and exit IP Vault. The vault gives exposure to a diversified royalties fund (music and other IP streams).
Estimated yield was presented at 7–9% annually. This is not guaranteed, and the value can go down. It’s not a bank deposit.

4️⃣. Startale App product updates

New USDC vault options are live via Gauntlet USDC Prime and Flowmark fGenesis.
More activity on the gaming, NFT, and crafting side, plus an AI-powered game creation campaign.
IP Vault’s first round filled quickly, showing early demand.

5️⃣. Community programs

Starborne continues recognizing active contributors. Focus remains on staying engaged, welcoming new people, and building Starfolio.
Soneium Ambassador Program updates were shared, with the next phase approaching.

⏯️Overall take

Startale is building the financial rails while Soneium focuses on entertainment, creators, games, and tokenized IP. The interesting part will be how these actually get used. The pieces are connecting, but long term adoption is what matters.

Sony just announced a new global incubation program for startups and creators building on Soneium, starting October 29.

But question is what's the goal?

It's simple - bringing creators and fans closer, building stronger communities, and finding new ways for creators to earn from their work.

Selected projects will get access to Soneium's infrastructure, support from Sony's businesses, marketing, business development and fundraising opportunities.

I think this is bigger than just another blockchain program are rn in the market.

Imagine artists, musicians, gamers and content creators building directly with their communities, while fans get new ways to participate and share in the value they help create.

Sony has already supported 43 projects through its previous incubation programs. Now it's focusing specifically on onchain entertainment.

With Sony's entertainment background and Soneium's technology coming together, I'm really curious to see what gets built next.

- Target yield: 5-9%
- p.a. since 2020: +9.1%
- p.a. since Jun 2025: +7.1%

Subscription capacity: $600.00K

First time I’m hearing about the $600K limit on this pool.

Two large deposits of 259,992.79 ipUSD& 239,995.80 ipUSD, from multisigs wallets, about 4h50m before the post.

I’m sure there must be more ways to farm SONEIUM token before TGE, is this one? I have no idea. I cannot see any mention regarding this. Speculation only.

Withdrawal Process:

#1 Standard Withdrawal - No fee, but 90-180 days.
#2 Instant Withdrawal - 5% fee, immediate.

Yield will probably be around 7-9% but make sure you are happy to wait 3-6 months to withdraw, as taking the 5% instant withdrawal fee is not worth it.
