@EmiratesSupport@emirates Booked an Emirates ticket at Terminal 3 desk to Warsaw just one hour before departure. Before taking my payment, the sales desk checked all my documents and told me to rush to check-in because time was running out.
At check-in, they issued my boarding passes, then suddenly noticed my visa had expired two days earlier, the very thing that should have been checked before selling me the ticket.
I was offloaded and assured by the airport team that I’d receive a full refund. They even had me fill out a refund form.
I was promised a full refund. Now customer service claims I was a “no-show” and is charging me a refund fee. Is this a joke? Completely unacceptable.
