A black cat jumped into the window for a quick, classic jump scare. Which was probably terrifying at one point! But with modern horror’s shift towards more unsettling, “off” details, I wonder what watching a Hereditary or The Ritual will feel like in another 30 years.

I started my day listening to this story and thought about the fact that the reefs I saw in 2008 in the Bahamas that changed my life, that were colorful and colorful with life likely look so different today, if they remain at all.
Even if coral reefs don’t impact your daily life, the human-driven changes to our planet that are killing corals impact us ALL.
