Hi! It’s time for a little re-introduction. I’m Hannah, a growth marketer turned health & wellness coach working with individuals and groups to create meaningful change. ✨ (Though I keep some marketing clients; I want to keep the skills fresh!)
I came to coaching after ... 🧵
Point 3 👉 Sustained behavior change is 100% possible! Don’t let people say differently.
My clients are an example of this - with the right systems in place, positive change is inevitable.
Don't let leaders tell you it's inevitable that we eat toxic food.
Don't let them tell you Ozempic is the only answer for kids.
Don't let them tell you "behavior change is hard."
These are cynical lies from those who profit from the status quo.
Change can happen quickly.
New clients often want to hear what I’d recommend. And I can share. But that’s not usually (if ever) the right choice, because I want them bought in and problem solving!
The clients are the expert, I’m merely the guide. And that’s when results happen. 🎉
If this sounds like something you want to tackle those straggling goals, let’s chat. I’m a board-certified health and wellness coach helping busy professionals find ways to build better lives. 👉 hannah(at)https://t.co/ejHJRGgmWR
There are two types of goals/
Triage: Making yourself accomplish goals to build habits that will carry you through dips in motivation.
Strategic: The more nuanced type, which focuses on the systems and needs that make goals easier over time.
Here’s how to use them:
While we have that momentum, or if momentum lags, we focus on strategic goals. This is when we discuss systems and routines to minimize disruption. (And to know how to work with it when it comes!)
Hey, I’m Hannah - a board-certified health and wellness coach who has spent years in a startup environment. I’m passionate about integrating health, life, and work in practical ways. Sound interesting? Follow along! I’m also accepting new clients - DM for more info.
My health coaching clients working in startups have a similar complaint:
People are too fast to say “health above all else” but what happens when the career you’ve chosen and enjoy is counterproductive to that?
You make small, progressive changes over time that integrate. 👇
And while I believe that you can start healthier habits anytime, January is a natural time to re-evaluate habits. Ready to take the next step into wellness? Let’s chat 👉 hannah[at]https://t.co/ejHJRGgmWR
Christmas came early! I just found out I passed the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching exam that I took in November!
This in-depth 4-hour test covering coaching structure & practice, health, and ethics has prepped me to become a stronger coach to serve clients.
A great coach doesn’t tell you what to do. They ask questions, reflect what you’re saying, and draw out clarity from the muck of uncertainty.
Whether it’s health, career, productivity, or anything else, it should be 100% guided by you, the client.
So now we brainstorm together some options and she chooses one to try.
You’ll never have a one size fits all approach when we’re working together.
Customization creates success.
Goal setting will only work if they’re built around how YOU think.
For example, some may say that you HAVE to use a food diary or you won’t create sustainable change.
False.
Here’s why 👇 (A very short thread.)
A client of mine has decided that, in her efforts to reset some healthy habits, she doesn’t want a food diary because her past tracking experience lead to hyper fixation.
And you know what? That’s great! We know one option that won’t work. 👇
@AlexisToddNY Hi! I experienced huge benefits from functional medicine and became a coach to help others make behavior changes that fit their goals and lifestyles. 🙂

@realBrookNash I agree! I’ve had similar conversations with other consultants and agencies this week. 2023 was a weird one but I do think there will be growth.
Most people get this one thing wrong about change:
Change is about making systems. They can evolve over time, but systems are what creates reliability and reliability creates momentum.
One of the biggest needle movers for my coaching clients in busy startups is choosing the TYPE of goal for the week. (It’s based on how they’re feeling and/or their week ahead.)
Tiny goal to feel accomplished? Stretch goal to make more progress?
They decide, I support!
