My potentially hot take on crypto gaming is that most purpose-built chains and platforms are pointless and the uphill battle for users is just them fighting over the same very small handful of users that actually don’t give a shit about the product: The massive amount of users being reported is vanity only and means absolutely nothing.

In order for crypto gaming to actually make sense and become a thing, imo you need to be going where the players are already gathering and rewarding THERE using this tech instead. ColdLink does this - you can have your on chain activity, holdings and history rewarded in basically any existing environment with no risk - meaning little to no disruption to the player’s experience with only an up side of holding certain assets/completing certain tasks.

Examples could be getting a special gun in Fortnite for holding a moonbird, get a skin in Roblox for being an Azuki, unlock special powers for being a Deadfellaz etc etc.

You can also then have your game specific NFTs recognized in-game with little to no friction - meaning actual on-chain ownership of in-game items without risk or limit of where they can be recognized.
