Trump made the call. FIFA bent the rule. Balogun came back.
And Belgium still sent the hosts home 4-1.
The United States had the home crowd, the flag, the hype, the phone call, and the second chance. Belgium had the pressure, the finish, the Red Devils, and the waffles hot enough to cook the whole back line.
You can bend the rule, but you cannot bend the game.
Cheated and defeated.
Bye bye bye.
Sacred Defense.

🚨🇮🇷 BREAKING — World Cup “Disaster”
Mohammad Mohebi and Mehri Taremi Say:
“Not to Make Excuses but This Is Not a Fair Competition.”
Iranian Players argued they should arrive 2 days before matches instead of traveling, training, and playing while exhausted by 5 hours in Immigration Controls and Transit.
"International Workers' Day" celebration "Rally" on the ONLY day we get as a break from work, which we are encouraged to participate by the employer. Nice.
The thing about exhaustion from a 9-5 is that it's not physical. You're mentally empty. You could go to the gym, learn a skill, work on something. Your body can do it. Your brain just refuses to start. So you scroll. Or watch something. And before you know it the alarm is set for 6am again.
Truth we don't talk about. companies are full of political appointees who do almost nothing and still take home 25k to 50k every month. Meanwhile, the actual workers doing 8 hour shifts, carrying the real workload struggle to earn even 15k.
Promotions, increments, pressure… all based on appraisal for the people who actually work. But for the politically connected? No appraisal, no pressure, just easy money.
And then we complain: “people are not hardworking anymore.”
How can they be?
When hard work is ignored and connections are rewarded !
People, just go home after voting.
There's no need to hoard around the voting centres, restricting traffic flow of the already congested roads. Crowding around the voting centres won't make your candidates win.
