@iamankitpande There are only two possibilities:
1. He was a better performer than others but didn’t feel valued.
2. He was wrong in his perception and company didn’t do anything to correct him of it.
In both cases, the fault lies with poor leadership.
‘Tradeoffs’ and ‘resources’ is middle management speak from folks that have been trained at large orgs to self-preserve and stall all progress. If you are hearing these words in your management meetings, it is time to purge and clean the culture.
Act before it is too late.
Indians have never had trouble with proselytization. Sure, preach it as you wish.
Abrahamic faiths have historically failed in India because their talking points don’t resonate with Hindus.
The modern Indian backlash against proselytization has political roots, not theological.
@theskindoctor13 A lot of verbosity to defend a system designed for the convenience of the adults rather than for the benefit of the students it claims to serve.
The reason Indian system is so fucked up is because people actually believe in this bs.
@theiaincameron There is another ‘almost quadripoint’ high in the Himalayas between china, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan (or India depending on your politics).
The distance between the two tripoints is probably less than 50km as the crow flies.
How tone deaf does one have to be to do a layoff and then push remaining employees who wanna talk about it to your AI avatar…and then publicly brag about it as “I was tired of all the whining”.

@Sagiel_X@historyinmemes I tell any kid who gets a tortoise as a pet - you didn’t get a pet for yourself, you just bought an heirloom for your grand kids.
Drove from San Jose to SF for the first time ever today (I’m not from California). Absolutely shocked, floored, etc. at the incredible lack of development.
Just mile after mile of trees and hills, not a single building or road, in what’s probably a top five value-per-acre area.
I see why people are mad about NIMBYism now…
Most leaders build organizations in their own image. As a result, they end up institutionalizing their own weaknesses and blind spots into their companies.
