@ComicDaveSmith If you knew this was going to happen last year would you have voted for Kamala? Your comments on BP make it sound like that.
I think you said what you did to emphasize your disappointment with Trump not to imply the above, but what do I know.
@RobSchneider It starts with mis-characterizing @ComicDaveSmith ๐
โIt confuses a linguistic truthโthat harm was foreseeableโwith a moral falsehood: that the act is inherently wrong, no matter the context.โ
@davidsirota Who wrote this line? It's nice ๐
"These examples of scarcity-producing corporate maneuvers should be an abundant topic in the Abundance Discourse, but they are scarcely mentioned, if at all."
@skdh How would market based research lead to creating a cure for GERD - for example - rather than the pill-a-day-for-life solution? What would be the incentive?
@natradamus00@VigilantFox The tone and demeanor is that of earnest intellectual curiosity while the content is just utterly partizan and deceitful garbage. For me it's that contrast is jarring and annoying.
@AstroMikeMerri@calvinrobinson I learn from your insights so may I ask, do you see this entirely as Russia's fault? The alternate narrative being that NATO's potential expansion into Ukraine is unacceptable from Russia's perspective and therefore Russia had no choice but to do what it did.
@ggreenwald hey glenn - i was debating this with my brother and he asked how come trump could not get his censorship overturned by courts based on this argument?
@StatusCoup@JordanChariton Joe never concealed that he's not a medical expert. He is stating his opinion - clearly as opinion - with no deception. How is it irresponsible? How will you react differently to someone who did use deception?
@stdonoghue @AFranzsen@awgaffney I'm not understanding the part where they are endangering others. We know that covid is spreading unbated through both vaccinated and unvaccinated populations. So why do you think the unvaccinated are endangering anyone but themselves.
@AFranzsen @stdonoghue @awgaffney Sure but we don't seem to apply that standard for any other health issue and does vilifying our peers help?
Also consider that our hospitals are overwhelmed not only because of covid it's also because they are run to maximize profits not to maximize care.

@AFranzsen @stdonoghue @awgaffney Vaccines certainly benefit the vast majority of the people yet I don't like the idea of vilifying people who don't want to take it. Some might be irrational others might have a reason. People are complicated. I don't think hating our peers helps.
@EpicBear@awgaffney Consider that Pfizer has paid billions in fines for intentionally defrauding the public (prior to vaccines). No one went to jail. Is it not understandable that some people are skeptical?
@DineshDSouza@elonmusk Isn't this akin to wanting a benign dictator? Doesn't sound like a good solution to anything regardless of how good or well intentioned elon is.
